Each fish has a spawn-condition profile — time of day, weather, and location all factor in. Some fish only bite at night during rain, for example. The system checks conditions every cast.
Yes. Caught fish are standard inventory items, so any cooking or crafting script can pick them up as ingredients. Restaurant job scripts also have drop-in integration if you want chefs to buy directly.
